OGM Universe has expanded its international sales team with the appointment of Selim Türkmen as Sales Director for MENA and Africa, the Turkish distributor announced yesterday.

Türkmen brings extensive industry experience to the role, having spent eight years at Kanal D International. Joining the company in 2016 to manage sales across Western Europe, Africa, and SAARC, he was appointed to oversee the MENA, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Western Europe territories in 2020, before stepping into the role of Director of Sales in 2022.

In 2025, Türkmen transitioned to content production as Director of Sales and Business Development at Hacıyatmaz Group, gaining valuable insight into show packaging, budgeting, and commercial strategy from a producer’s perspective. He is fluent in English and French, and possesses a strong command of Spanish.

In his new role at OGM Universe, Türkmen will lead content distribution strategy across MENA and Africa, driving growth and strengthening partnerships with leading regional broadcasters and streaming platforms.
