The Best Finished TV Series in CEE jury brings together five international executives and producers: Carlo Dusi, Founder and Managing Director of Turning Point; Alexander Keil, Managing Partner of Germany's SKP Entertainment; Maria Kivinen, Founder and Director of Sales, Acquisitions & Co-Productions at Norse Key Studios; Erik Pack, Co-Managing Director of EP Pictures; and Rodrigo Nascimento, Head of International Business HUB, EMEA at Globo. The Best Pre-development TV Series in Europe jury consists of Filip Bobiňski, Producer, Showrunner and CEO of Dramedy Productions; Nataša Buljan, Fiction Development Director at United Media; Emmanuel Eckert, Producer at Samara Media; and Todor Ignatov, Head of the Cinema and Foreign Programs Department at Bulgarian National Television (BNT). The NEM Awards 2026 feature three competition categories, including Best Finished TV Series in CEE and SEE, Best Pre-development TV Series in Europe, and PITCH & PLAY LIVE! by CEETV, which focuses on discovering promising new international television formats. The Best Finished TV Series in CEE category is open to series originating in the region that premiered or were made available on television or streaming platforms between September 15, 2025, and October 15, 2026. The Best Pre-development TV Series in Europe category offers screenwriters, filmmakers and creators an opportunity to present projects at an early development stage to industry professionals. Submissions for both NEM Awards categories are open until November 11, 2026, at 23.59. The deadline for PITCH & PLAY LIVE! was October 23. NEM Zagreb will take place at the Esplanade Zagreb Hotel, continuing an event tradition that began in 2019. Organized by Mediavision, the gathering has established itself as a meeting point for television and film professionals in the CEE region, bringing together broadcasters, streaming platforms, producers, distributors, content buyers and technology companies. The event's expanded focus also reflects the changing audiovisual landscape, with its program covering content creation, production, marketing, artificial intelligence and emerging video formats. Alongside industry panels, masterclasses, premieres and networking opportunities, the NEM Awards remain a central part of its mission to celebrate creativity, encourage collaboration and create new business opportunities across the regional and international television industry.
