Between June 23-25, the Srebrenica Memorial Center hosts SrebrenicaDocs, a regional documentary film festival dedicated to the topics of facing the past and transitional justice. 14 documentaries will be shown during the 3 days of the festival, which is sponsored by the British Embassy in BiH and the UK Government.

This year, SrebrenicaDoc's partner organizations are BIRN BiH / Detektor.ba, BHRT, FTV, HAYAT, Al Jazeera Balkans, N1, BIR TV, TVSA, TVTK, Klix and FENA.

'Now is the time to tell our story and to honor the writers, who devoted their time, energy and effort to the subject of the Srebrenica genocide. That's what SrebrenicaDocs is all about - human stories and various approaches to the narrative. We will discuss how the authors went from the original concept to its realization and their challenges along the way. It is important for the new generations to understand the whole process,' said Emir Suljagić, Director of the Srebrenica Memorial Center.
