Wieliński, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, and Roman Imielski, First Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Gazeta Wyborcza (Poland); Cristian Delcea and Mihai Voinea, Editors-in-Chief and Co-Founders of Recorder (Romania); Ivaylo Stanchev, Editor-in-Chief of Capital (Bulgaria); Jelena Pavić Valentić, Editor-in-Chief of Telegram (Croatia); Michał Danielewski, Editor-in-Chief of OKO.press (Poland); Peter Bárdy, Editor-in-Chief of Aktuality (Slovakia); and Robert Břešťan, Editor-in-Chief of HlídacíPes.org (Czech Republic).

The statement was written by Veronika Munk, Director of Innovation and New Markets at Denník N (Slovakia), which is also a member of the CEE Network.
