![]() Globo’s Land of Desire arrives in Armenia
Brazilian telenovela Land of Desire (Terra do Paixao) has been sold in Armenia by means of an agreement with The First Channel of Armenia (the Public TV Company of Armenia), Globo reports.
The same channel previously aired Globo's All The Flowers, Pantanal, Rising Sun, Second Chance, Side By Side, Boogie Oogie, and The Illusionist. From Walcyr Carrasco, winner of the International Emmy for Hidden Truths, Land of Desire tells the story of Aline (Barbara Reis from ’All The Flowers’), a young woman who sees her family wiped out by a crime. Driven by the desire for reparation, her story crosses paths with that of the family of Antonio La Selva, a family divided by ambition and many secrets. The story is scheduled to premiere in the first semester. "We wish to strengthen our presence in the CIS region and we know that each country has its own particularities. However, whether with classic stories or new releases, we have content that meets various needs. Our long-standing partnership with the Public TV Company of Armenia reflects the country's interest in our productions, and we hope that with Land of Desire it will be no different”, said Guilherme Jordão, Content Distribution & Partnerships.
