Globo is taking its primetime hit Pantanal to Azerbaijan. Through an agreement between Globo and ITV, the telenovela has launched on the Azeri pubcaster.

“We want to increasingly expand our presence in the region, which has shown interest in our stories for decades and reconnects with us every year through new stories. We hope that the audiences of Azerbaijan enjoy Pantanal and that they will spark interest in expanding the presence of Brazilian telenovelas in the country, as well as the interest of other players in these same markets”, said Guilherme Jordão, Content Distribution & Partnerships.
