Global Agency today announced that its hit quiz format Joker will be on air on Monday, February 26, on Nova TV Croatia. The show will air daily and will be hosted by Frano Ridjan.

CEETV reported first that the format is being adapted in Croatia back in November.

Izzet Pinto, Founder & CEO of Global Agency, said: “We are thrilled to be announcing this new sale for Joker, one of our most entertaining and challenging quiz shows. Negotiations for Joker continue in several countries. 2024 is set to be the year of Joker, with it expected to be on air in 10+ territories.”

Frano Ridjan commented for the Croatian press: 'A handful of interesting contestants, difficult questions, both successes and failures in winning the offered amounts will soon be brought by the Joker. And although there was no lack of challenging situations on set, there were surely no tears of sadness. A lot of laughter, a little bit of dancing and a cheering crowd. We are basically hoping that the viewers will have fun with us and also learn a lot of new things. We're expecting many new candidates for the upcoming shows because they had no objections to the host.'

Global Agency added that the show achieved great success in Portugal with more than 1100 episodes on RTP; and France with more than 400 daily episodes on France 2. The format was initially broadcast on the Turkish public broadcaster TRT for over 100 episodes. The show also continues to air successfully in Poland and Slovenia.
