ATV Distribution announced a number of fresh drama deals at the start of the NATPE Budapest market.
In Europe, new hit A Little Sunshine was picked up in Romania, Spain, Hungary and North Macedonia. Street Birds was licensed to Spain and Romania. In addition, Wounded Heart was acquired in Lithuania, and For My Family was sold in Hungary. In Asia, Bangladesh purchased ATV’s Destan and For My Family, while Kazakhstan acquired For My Family and The Ottoman. Along with these territories, Destan was taken up by Vietnam, and The Ottoman by Georgia. In Africa, Angola and Mozambique chose The Ottoman, Ghana Hercai, and French-speaking Africa, Broken Wings. “We have built up a strong catalog with a variety of drama series as a consequence of ATV’s leadership in the local market for 7 consecutive years. I am happy to reflect on this success in the international arena as well and it’s a great pleasure to see that both our client and territory base is growing.
