The EBU’s Montenegro Member RTCG has launched some major technological reforms. Last week the broadcaster announced a tender for digitalization. This will allow RTCG to modernize its production and launch new approaches and initiatives.

RTCG’s Director General Rade Vojvodic said: “This important project will enable RTCG to better serve its citizens; answering the requirements of new technological developments and the digitalization of the country.”

RTCG has worked hard on the project benefitting from the advice of senior technical experts from the EBU’s Department of Technology and Innovation.

The deadline for receiving bids is 23 November 2015. The estimated costs are €15.7m. The Commission evaluating the bids is composed of representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Finance and RTCG. All submitted documents will be available on RTCG’s website.
